Buying MTG Card Assortments: What to Know Before You Order

An MTG assortment gives you a varied selection of Magic: The Gathering cards. Four Knights selects and packages these cards; the contents are not a factory-sealed booster product.

Start with your goal

For exploring cards, sorting, trading, and casual deck building, compare our Starter and Deluxe Collection Boxes. For a specific deck list, buy singles so you can choose the cards you need.

Check the contents and duplicate policy

Read each product's included card counts, rarity mix, and duplicate policy. Our Starter and Deluxe boxes do not include basic lands. Each assortment brings a different mix of cards, printings, colors, and sets to explore.

Is an assortment a complete deck?

Think of a collection box as a selection of cards to explore and build with. It is not a ready-to-play deck. You may need lands and specific singles to finish your deck. Check your deck's format requirements before buying.

Can I choose specific cards, colors, or sets?

Our assortments are a surprise mix, so we are unable to take requests for particular cards, colors, or sets. If you have something specific in mind, shop our singles.

What condition are assortment cards?

You can expect Near Mint or Lightly Played cards in your assortment.

Shipping and returns

Enjoy free shipping on orders of $80 or more to any US state. Delivery usually takes a week or less, though busy periods like Black Friday and Christmas may take a little longer.

We're happy to help. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery before sending anything back. Items need to be unopened, in their original packaging, and in the condition they arrived. Return shipping is covered by the buyer. Read the full return policy and contact us before sending a return.
