MTG Starter vs. Deluxe Collection Box: Which Should You Choose?
Choose the Starter Collection Box for a smaller assortment with very few duplicates. Choose the Deluxe Collection Box for more commons and uncommons, including possible playsets.
Both boxes contain authentic Magic: The Gathering cards selected and packaged by Four Knights. They are assortments, not factory-sealed booster displays or ready-to-play decks.

How do duplicates differ?
Starter boxes generally have no duplicates. A few may occasionally slip in during packing, so the product is described as having less than 5% duplicates. Buying more than one box may result in overlap between boxes.
In a Deluxe box, the mythic rare, rare, and foil selections do not contain duplicates within their respective groups. Commons and uncommons may include up to four copies of a card.
Which box fits your collection?
The Starter box is a useful starting point for exploring a variety of cards. The Deluxe box suits players who want a larger selection to sort, trade, and use for casual deck building. You can discover a different mix of cards, sets, colors, and artwork in each box. If you are building a particular deck, singles can help you fill in the gaps.
Can I choose specific cards, colors, or sets?
Our assortments are a surprise mix, so we are unable to take requests for particular cards, colors, or sets. If you have something specific in mind, shop our singles.
What condition are assortment cards?
You can expect Near Mint or Lightly Played cards in your assortment.
Shipping and returns
Enjoy free shipping on orders of $80 or more to any US state. Delivery usually takes a week or less, though busy periods like Black Friday and Christmas may take a little longer.
